Megaupload Shutdown Today & Other News

So I'll be uploading the Calendar and new translated files else where as soon as I get some free time.

As to why it is down, sounds like money laundering and racketeering by the head people, and a reluctance to stop movie distribution:

The individuals in the criminal enterprise -- a worldwide ring led by Australians Kim Dotcom, aka Kim Schmitz, and Kim Tim Jim Vestor -- each face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on racketeering charges, five years for conspiracy to commit copyright infringement, 20 years on money laundering charges and five years on related charges.

I finally have addresses for the last of the contest prizes; so I'm sending everything out today except the 2 fanfic prizes I need to get addresses for. Sorry for the delay. (Lots of excuses.)

Wind Waker Tetra and Princess Zelda Concept Art

As requested, here is concept art for Tetra/Princess Zelda from the Wind Waker! Most of these come from Hyrule Historia, but I also included two that are from the Zelda Box artbook that were not reprinted in the more recent collection. Enjoy!

Any other requests?

Nintendo Wii U Controller Demo from CES 2012

An interesting & short little video showing some proof of concept for the Wii U!

Keep in mind that they will probably not be making that into a Zelda game, or even making one that looks like this. Game companies often make videos that just show off a new system's hardware capabilities in order to attract other companies to develop for it... They're not playable games, they're not even an idea for a real game: they're just something they can whip up and never become anything more than a semi-controllable movies. ,,,Also, it such a Soul Calibur style that I can't say I'd be sad if this is true! I love the detail and lighting: I'd just love to see a different art direction for Zelda.

Rumor's of 2 New Zelda Games.

Fire Prophecy and Ice Prophecy? Obviously there's a great deal of reason to doubt this, but there's some interesting points Mases fished out of the past that make it at least worth mentioning.

Go read the original article here:
Rumor: Ninetndo working on Two Nintendo 3DS Zelda Titles

As is pointed out in the original article: These kind of images are incredibly easy to make (the art looks un-nintendo) and I'm personally doubting the two titles mentioned, and images for them, are real... It would be far more likely that they were instead made by some fans BECAUSE of the quotes. Something looks off with the text too. I don't know. Perhaps it's the lack of the "no" character, aka: の, that they always seem to use when they connect two parts of a title: in the oracle series and in "Zelda no Densetsu." On the other hand, I would not doubt that Nintendo is already working on some new Zelda games. ;) So at least there's that.

1 month anniversary of being open!

In only one month there's been such major ups, and downs, that's for sure! X)
But yay! Hopefully, soon, I'll have more server room which means room for growth!
Thank you to everyone who has visited and sent such amazing comments and well wish my way. It means so much! Zelda attracts such awesome people!

Much love,
~Melora

Doujinshi Scanlation: Complete Princess

Rinael and Cavalier did an amazing job translating and localizing this beautiful doujinshi. The first part was scanned by Anastasia and the rest was scanned, cleaned, and typeset by me, Melora.

The download can be found there, at the zip icon. I hope you enjoy! And please tell us what you think, we'd love some input.

Fixed: Publication Errors + Spanish & French Help Needed

Apologies to anyone who visited the publication's section of the site today, I did not realize that the directories I deleted would cause the layout to break. Some of the sections looked very unprofessional because of it. They should be fixed now and I'll be updating some of the deleted information later.

I also updated the translation project's work list.

We're currently in desperate need of a FRENCH and SPANISH Editor (Cleaner and Typesetter) to work on some doujinshi and manga. If you are interested, please check out this help wanted page and then email me. You'll need photoshop and serious inquires only please.
